Saucony Triumph 17 Editor's Choice 2020 Canadian Running magazine

Saucony Triumph 17 Canadian Running Editors Pick

Marc-Andre Dugas |

The Saucony Triumph 17, your running shoe for running and running and running!

That's saying a lot: Editor's Choice 2020 from both Canadian Running AND Runner's World! One of the brand's most popular shoes, this shoe is now available in an upgraded version that draws on years of experience to give runners the perfect ride.

Fast. That's what it feels like once you put it on. The new PWRRUN foam, which replaces EVERUN, is lighter, livelier and more responsive in its cushioning, allowing the midsole to lose 25% of its weight. A neutral, well-balanced running shoe designed for good distances, the Triumph 17 is a bit stiffer thanks to its new midsole. The upper is a bit softer than the previous version, allowing the foot to stay in place with its mesh overlay system.

With an 8mm drop, a forefoot thickness of 25.5mm and a heel thickness of 33.5mm, all concentrated in a weight of 261g (Triumph 17 women's model) and 305 g (Triumph 17 men's model), is the perfect running shoe for your long outings or a day of recovery. Its FORMFIT sole acts as a luxurious seat for your foot, adapting to you for a perfect fit and offering comfort from all angles. Not too soft or slimy, not too stiff either. The editors' choice of perfection for long runs! And our runners!
